Moonstone Colours
Moonstones come in a variety of colours but the most sought after, and therefore valuable, is an intense blue that seems to float over the gemstone's surface. After blue, the most preferred colour is white which most resembles the look of the real moon.
Moonstones come in white, grey, pink, yellow, orange, brown and red colours, each with their own natural beauty.
When most people hear moonstone the white with the blue shimmering or iridescence is what comes to mind. Here are beautiful examples of the other colours moonstone comes in. These are 5mm (approx.) with faceted that give a bit of bling.
