Moss Agates

Moss agate is a semi-precious gemstone formed from silicon dioxide. It is a form of chalcedony which includes minerals of a green colour embedded in the stone, forming filaments and other patterns suggestive of moss.

Despite its name, moss agate does not contain organic matter and is usually formed from weathered volcanic rocks

Each stone is different with it’s own internal pattern. They are a nice size at 12mm round.Strand is fully knotted to a total length of 18.5” including the silver parrot clasp. There is 2” extension chain to add extra length if you want to wear it longer than the 18.5”
